Installation Instructions for 2013-2018 Hyundai Santa Fe (2.0L / 2.4L 4-Cyl Only) and 2014-2015 Kia Sorento

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Lower and Remove Spare Tire
- Lower the spare tire to provide access to the installation area.
Step 2: Lower the Exhaust
- Remove (3) rubber isolators to lower the exhaust.
Step 3: Remove Underbody Panels
- Remove the plastic underbody panel from both the passenger and driver side frame rails.
- Remove (3) fascia screws on the passenger side and (4) on the driver side.
- Carefully pull down the panels and set them aside.
Step 4: Position the Hitch
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Secure the hitch to the existing weldnuts using M10-1.25 x 25mm bolts and 3/8" conical toothed washers.
Step 5: Install Carriage Bolts
- Insert 1/2-13 x 4-1/2" carriage bolts through the driver side plate and frame rail. Secure using 1/2-13 flange nuts.
- Insert 1/2-13 x 4-1/2" carriage bolts through the 13152-SP spacer in the passenger side frame rail and out the passenger side plate. Secure using 1/2-13 flange nuts.
Note: The bumper locator pin may interfere with hitch hardware. Bend or trim the pin for clearance if needed.
Step 6: Torque Hardware
- Torque all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs.
- Torque all 10mm hardware to 48 ft-lbs.
Step 7: Reattach Components
- Raise the exhaust and spare tire back into position.
- Reinstall the passenger and driver side underbody panels removed in Step 3.

Safety Notes:
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times during installation.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Lower and Remove Spare Tire

- Find the vehicle taillight wiring harness connector near the rear tire on the passenger side, along the frame. The connector will resemble the one on the custom wiring harness.

Connect the Wiring Harness:
- Remove the protective cap from the vehicle's connector.
- Insert the custom wiring harness into the vehicle connector, ensuring it is fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
For Vehicles without Factory Tow Package:

- Find the vehicle taillight wiring connector behind the rear tire on the driver side, on the outside frame rail. The connector will resemble the one on the custom wiring harness.

Connect the Wiring Harness:
- Remove the protective cap from the vehicle's connector.
- Insert the custom wiring harness into the vehicle connector, ensuring it is fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
For All Vehicles:

Route the 4-Flat Connector:
- Route the 4-flat connector to the center of the vehicle by going over the exhaust along the bumper.
- Avoid areas that may cut, pinch, or melt the wire.
- Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.

Mount the Converter Box:
- Locate a flat, clean surface that is out of the path of spray and debris from the rear wheels and road.
- Adhere the black converter box using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.
Warning: Failure to mount the box in a protected area can cause loss of warranty, product failure, overheating, and potential fire.

Insert the Fuse:
- To complete the installation, insert the provided 10 AMP fuse into the in-line fuse holder.
