Installation Instructions for Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti QX60
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Ratchet
- Torque wrench
- Socket (3/4", 21mm)
- Socket extension (6")
- Exhaust removal tool
- Utility knife
- Tape measure
- Marker
- Safety glasses
Step 1: Remove the spare tire
- Open the rear hatch to access the spare tire lift.
- Use a 21mm socket to lower the spare tire and set it aside.
Step 2: Lower the exhaust
- Use an exhaust removal tool with soapy water to remove the three (3) exhaust hangers.
- Support the exhaust before removing the rubber hangers to prevent damage.
Step 3: Trim the bumper cover
- Measure and mark a 4.25" wide by 2.5" deep section at the center of the lowest edge of the bumper cover.
- Use a utility knife to cut the marked section.
Step 4: Install the hitch
- Raise the hitch into position and loosely install the M12 hex bolts (#1) with conical-toothed washers (#2).
- Refer to the assembly diagram to align the hitch properly with the vehicle frame.
Step 5: Torque hardware
- Torque all M12 fasteners to 60 ft-lbs.
Step 6: Reinstall components
- Reinstall the exhaust hangers and the spare tire.
- Push the spare tire slightly forward to ensure clearance from the hitch receiver.
Hardware List:
- (6) Hex head cap screws, M12 (#1)
- (6) Conical-toothed washers, M12 (#2)
Safety Notes:
- Always wear safety glasses during installation.
- Never exceed the vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity.
- Periodically inspect the hitch to ensure all mounting hardware is tight and secure.
