Option A: Closed Sided Skid Shield (1997 and Later Models):

- Remove the skid shield mounting bolts.
- Drill the skid shield to remove interference with the receiver tube.
- Reattach the skid shield with M12 bolts and hardened flat washers.

- Position the hitch side brackets over the skid shield and frame.

- Attach with M12 x 1.75 bolts and conical washers through the weld nuts on the frame.
