Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter

Wiring Access Location:
- Driver’s side rear quarter panel trim behind the spare tire.
Tools Required:
- Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
- Screw or cable ties (provided in the kit).
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the rear door of the vehicle.
- Temporarily remove the spare tire and the driver’s side rear quarter panel trim (Fig. 1).

Locate the vehicle’s tail light wiring harness.
- The harness will have white rectangular connectors matching the ends of the T-Connector adapter (Fig. 2).
- Separate the harness connectors carefully to avoid damaging the locking tabs.

Insert the T-Connector between the harness connectors.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs secure.

Locate a suitable grounding point near the adapter.
- Caution: Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32" hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.

Test the installation with a test light or trailer.

Secure the black box to the vehicle using the screw or cable tie provided.

Reattach the rear quarter panel trim and spare tire to their original positions.
