Tools Required:

- Exhaust Removal Pliers or Pry Bar

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Mark Centerline on Appearance Panel:
- Use a marker or tape to mark the centerline of the appearance panel.
2. Remove Appearance Panel:
- Remove (5) Phillips screws, (9) plastic rivets, and (4) plastic screws with a flat head screwdriver.
- Tip: Pull on the panel to ease removal.
3. Lower Exhaust:
- Detach the exhaust from the rubber isolators to lower it.
- Spray lubricant or soapy water on the metal hanger rods and isolators to facilitate removal.
4. Remove Plugs and Tape:
- Remove (1) rubber plug from each side of the frame and any tape covering the weld nuts (3 per side).
- Run bolts from the fastener kit into the weld nuts to confirm no interference.
5. Open Rear Hatch:
- Remove (2) plastic rivets (1 per side) and (2) small bolts (1 per side) from the rear hatch area.
6. Remove Wheel Well Screws:
- Remove (1) Phillips screw per side from the lower attaching points between the rear fascia and rear side panel.
7. Remove Lower Rear Fascia:
- Gently pull up from the rear wheel well panels to unclip tabs inside and work toward the rear.
- Disconnect any wiring harnesses from the fascia, if present, and set the fascia aside.
8. Install the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and align it with the existing weld nuts on the frame.
- Secure using (6) hex bolts, (6) lock washers, and (6) flat washers.
- Push the hitch toward the driver’s side before tightening fasteners.
9. Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
10. Reattach Exhaust:
- Reinstall the exhaust back onto the rubber isolators.
11. Reinstall Fascia:
- Reinstall the rear fascia starting from the center and working outward.
- Reattach all fasteners and any wiring harnesses in reverse order of removal.
12. Trim or Reinstall Appearance Panel:
- If necessary, trim the appearance panel as shown in the instructions.
- Obtain the owner’s permission before trimming.
- Reinstall the panel if it has been trimmed.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Toyota Sienna

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the bolts holding the taillights.
- Remove the bolts and carefully pull the taillights rearward, being careful not to damage the alignment tabs.
- Repeat for the passenger side.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- On both sides, locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness.
- Disconnect the connectors carefully, ensuring not to damage the locking tabs.
- Clean the connector surfaces to ensure proper connection.

Remove Interior Components:
- Temporarily remove the threshold plate by taking out the cargo clips.
- Remove the jack storage compartment door on the passenger side.
- Use a trim panel removal tool to carefully pull back the interior trim panels on both sides.

Mount the T-One® Connector Black Box:
- On the passenger side, mount the black box using the provided double-sided tape.

Connect the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Attach the T-One® Connector ends (green wires and brown/red wires) between the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness connectors on the passenger side.

Route the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Route the yellow wire T-Connector across the threshold to the driver’s side.
- Insert the yellow wire connector into the vehicle’s taillight wiring connector and lock it into place.

Ground the White Wire:
- Ground the white wire by placing the ring terminal under an existing screw or by drilling a 3/32” hole and securing it with a self-tapping screw.
Caution: Ensure all other ground connections are secure when removing and reattaching the ground stud.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal to the vehicle’s positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.

Route the Power Wire:
- Route the black wire through a grommet and along the exterior frame or existing wiring into the engine compartment, avoiding areas that could pinch or damage the wire.

Connect the Power Wire to the Black Box:
- Connect the black wire to the black power wire on the T-One® Connector black box using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer.
Note: Reset the vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Secure the Wiring:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure all loose wires.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or cut during reassembly.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the taillight assemblies, threshold, and other items removed during installation.
- Store the 4-flat connector in the jack storage compartment when not in use.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the bolts holding the taillights.
- Remove the bolts and carefully pull the taillights rearward, being careful not to damage the alignment tabs.
- Repeat for the passenger side.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- On both sides, locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness.
