Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Plastic Fascia Rivets:
- Detach the two plastic fascia rivets from the fascia tabs. Retain for reinstallation.

Remove Factory Bolts:
- Remove the inboard and lower bolts located on each side of the end panel.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position against the frame.

Install Fasteners:
- Secure the hitch using the provided M8 x 1.25 x 30mm CL10.9 bolts and conical toothed washers. Hand-tighten to hold the hitch in place.

Reinstall Plastic Rivets:
- Replace the plastic fascia rivets removed in Step 1.

- Torque all M8 CL10.9 fasteners to 27 Lb.-Ft. (37 N*M) using a torque wrench.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Trunk:
- Remove the threshold panel.
- Partially remove the felt trunk liner on both sides to expose the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness.
- Remove the plastic trim fasteners securing the protective cover to access the wiring harness.

Locate the Vehicle’s Wiring Harness:
- On the driver’s side, locate the taillight wiring harness.
- Separate the connectors carefully, ensuring not to break the locking tabs.
- Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle’s connectors.
- Lock the connectors into place, ensuring they are fully inserted and the locking tabs are secure.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire under the felt trunk liner to the passenger side.

- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Attach the fuse holder to the positive (+) battery cable using the ring terminal.
