Wiring Access Location:
- Hyundai Tucson: SUV1, SUV2

Tools Required:
- Wrenches: 16mm
- Drill Bits: None
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Raise the vehicle using a hoist or ramps for better access to the underside.
- While supporting the exhaust, remove the rear hangers and lower the exhaust until the hitch can be positioned over the muffler tips and aligned with existing weld nuts in the frame.
- Loosely install the M10 hex bolts with conical washers in four places, as shown.
- Tighten all M10 CL10.9 fasteners to the specified torque.
- Reinstall the rear hangers for the exhaust.
Hardware List:
- Qty (4): Hex Bolt – M10 x 1.25 x 30mm CL 10.9
- Qty (4): Conical Washer – 3/8”
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
