Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the underbody panel:
- Using a flat head screwdriver and a 10mm socket, remove (5) push pin rivets and (2) hex nuts from the driver's side panel.
- Note: Two of the rivets connect the driver's side panel to the center panel.

Lower the muffler:
- Using an exhaust hanger removal tool, remove (1) rubber hanger on the passenger's side and (1) forward hanger at the center of the vehicle.
- Spray lubricant or soapy water on the rubber hangers to ease removal.
- Support the exhaust using a ratchet strap or bungee cord before removing the hangers.

Install the hitch:
- Raise the passenger’s side hitch bracket above the exhaust first, then raise the driver’s side into position.
- Using the supplied hardware, loosely install the M10 bolts and conical toothed washers.
- Note: Clean debris from existing weldnuts in the frame using a wire brush or compressed air if necessary.

Tighten fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M10 CL10.9 fasteners to 42 lb-ft (57 N*m).

Trim the underbody panel:
- Measure, mark, and trim the driver's side underbody panel using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife.

Reinstall the underbody panel:
- Reinstall the panel using (5) push pin rivets and (1) hex nut removed in Step 1.

Raise the muffler:
- Reattach all rubber hangers removed in Step 2.

- (4) Bolt, M10 x 1.25 x 30 CL10.9
- (4) Conical Washer, 3/8" (Part No. 01292006)
Safety Notes:
- Always wear safety glasses during installation.
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Vehicle:
- Open the tailgate.
- Remove the cargo floor door and carefully detach the floor trim panels and access panels on both sides.
- Set aside all removed components to prevent damage.

Access Taillight Wiring Harness:
- Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness inside the access panel area on both the driver and passenger sides.
- Disconnect the taillight connectors carefully, ensuring not to damage the locking tabs.
- Ensure all connectors are clean and free of debris.

Install Driver’s Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector with the yellow wire between the driver-side wiring harness and taillight socket.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and locked into place.

Route the Green Wire to the Passenger Side:
- Route the T-Connector harness with the green wire along the threshold plate to the passenger-side taillight area.
- Insert the T-Connector with the green wire between the passenger-side wiring harness and taillight socket.

Route the Power Wire:
- Connect the red power wire from the T-Connector black box to the provided black 12-gauge power wire using the yellow butt connector.
- Route the black power wire from the rear of the vehicle to the engine compartment following the vehicle’s frame or thresholds.
- Avoid hot pipes, fuel tanks, heat shields, or areas that may pinch or damage the wire.

Install the Fuse Holder:
- Cut the yellow fuse holder wire and attach the provided ring terminal to one end.
