Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Tow Hook:
- Remove and return the factory tow hook and its fasteners to the vehicle owner.

Install Hitch:
- On the driver’s side, raise the hitch into position and loosely install the center fastener using a hex bolt and conical washer through the elongated hole in the hitch into the vehicle frame.
- Repeat this process on the passenger’s side.

Secure Remaining Hardware:
- Center the hitch on the vehicle and install the remaining fasteners as shown in the instructions.

Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all M12 x 1.25 CL8.8 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m) using a torque wrench.
Hardware List:
- Qty (5): Hex Bolt – M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8
- Qty (5): Conical Washer – 1/2”
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
