Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Existing Fasteners:
- Remove the existing M14 bolts from the end of each frame rail.

Position the Hitch:
- Lift the hitch receiver into position, aligning the rearmost slots on the hitch with the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame.

Install New M14 Bolts:
- Install new M14 bolts through the hitch into the weldnuts in the vehicle frame and step bumper.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Secure the hitch using the provided carriage bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts as shown in the diagram.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the following specifications:
- Tighten M14 CL10.9 fasteners to 115 lb-ft (156 N·m).
- Tighten 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the following specifications:

Installation Instructions for 7-Way Flat Pin Connector / 4-Flat Combo Adapter Harness

Mounting Bracket Instructions:
- Determine a suitable mounting point on the tow vehicle for the connector or use an existing mount. Ensure the trailer’s wire harness has sufficient length to reach this point.
- Secure the mounting bracket on the rear of the tow vehicle or to the plate attached to the hitch cross tube using the self-tapping screws provided.
- Caution: Do not drill into the hitch cross tube to avoid damage to the hitch or personal injury. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces. Refer to the hitch owner’s manual or instruction sheet for recommendations and limitations.
Socket Instructions:
- Install the 7-way Blade Socket (connector) onto the mounting bracket using the screws and nuts provided.
- Plug the OEM factory-equipped car-end socket harness into the 7-way Blade Car Socket.
- Insert the 4-flat connector into the slot in the bracket.
- Tighten all screws securely.
Safety Notes:
