Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Existing Fasteners:
- Remove the existing M14 bolts from the end of each truck frame rail.

Position the Hitch:
- Lift the hitch into position, aligning the rearmost slots on the hitch with the existing weldnuts in the truck frame.

Install Spacers (if needed):
- If there are variations in bumper height, install 1–4 flat washers (9/16”) per side between the hitch and bumper attachment points as needed.

Secure M14 Bolts:
- Install the new M14 bolts through the hitch into the weldnuts in the truck frame and the step bumper.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Secure the remaining fasteners as shown in the diagram.

Torque Specifications:
- Tighten all 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
- Tighten all M14 CL10.9 fasteners to 115 lb-ft (156 N·m).
Hardware List:
- (4) M14 x 2.00 x 40mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
- (4) 9/16" Lock Washers
- (2) 1/2"-13 x 1-3/4" Carriage Bolts
- (12) 9/16" Flat Washers
- (2) 1/2" Hex Nuts
- (2) 1/2" Conical Washers
- (2) 1/4” x 1-1/2” x 3” Spacer Blocks
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Follow safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
