Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Appearance Panel:
- For vehicles with an appearance panel covering the trunk pan:
- Remove the panel.
- Trim the panel or return it untrimmed to the vehicle owner based on their preference (see Figure 2).
- For vehicles with an appearance panel covering the trunk pan:

Remove Plastic Plugs:
- Remove the plastic plugs from existing holes in the vehicle frame (if present).

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position over the exhaust pipes, aligning the slots in the hitch with the weldnuts in the frame rails.
- Lowering the exhaust may ease installation.
- Spray lubricant on the metal hanger rod and rubber isolator to help remove the exhaust.

Install Fasteners:
- Install the provided fasteners through the hitch and into the weldnuts on the frame rails as shown in Figure 1.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 75 ft-lb (102 N*m).

Reinstall Components:
- Raise the exhaust back into position and reattach hangers.
- Reinstall the trimmed appearance panel or return the untrimmed panel to the vehicle owner.
Hardware List:
- (6) Hex Bolt, M12 x 1.25 x 40mm CL10.9
- (6) Lock Washer, 1/2"
- (6) Flat Washer, 1/2"
Safety Notes:
- Frequently check the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter for Toyota Sienna

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Rear Taillight Housings:
- Remove both of the vehicle’s rear taillight housings by unscrewing the two bolts holding each taillight in place.

Remove Rear Threshold:
- Unscrew the three cargo bolts and carefully pry the threshold away from the vehicle.
-
Access Driver’s Side Wiring:
- Carefully pull back the driver’s side trim panel, ensuring not to break any clips or tabs. If equipped with a rear speaker cover, remove screws or clips that may come off during panel removal.

Access Passenger’s Side Wiring:
- Open the vehicle’s jack storage compartment to expose the opening to the taillight assemblies.
-
Route Passenger Side Harness:
- From the passenger’s side, route the T-Connector’s harness ends containing the green wire out through the taillight opening.
-
Connect T-Connector:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness connector from the taillight assembly. Carefully plug the T-Connector’s harness between the separated halves.
-
Route Driver Side Harness:
- Route the T-Connector harness containing the yellow wire across the vehicle under the threshold cover and out through the driver’s side taillight opening.
- Repeat step 6 using the harness containing the yellow wire.

Ground Connection:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as the vehicle’s frame or cross member. Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution:
- Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid vehicle damage or personal injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Mount the Converter Box:
- Mount the T-Connector black converter box in an out-of-the-way location on the passenger side using the provided screw or cable tie. Secure all loose wires with cable ties.

Reassembly:
- Tuck the yellow wire under the threshold panel and secure it. Reinstall the plastic trim panels, jack storage panel, and taillights.

Test the Installation:
- Test and verify the installation using a test light or trailer to ensure proper functionality.

Remove Rear Taillight Housings:
