Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Tie-Down Bracket:
- If present, remove the tie-down bracket from the vehicle frame rail.
- Discard the original bolts but retain the tie-down bracket for reinstallation with new hardware.

Install Carriage Bolt and Block:
- Use the provided pull wire to feed the carriage bolt and block through the slots in the side of the frame rails.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- If necessary, lift the bumper mounting bracket over the fascia for proper alignment.
- Secure the hitch with M12 bolts and conical washers into the existing weldnuts, ensuring that bolts are not pushed into the frame.

Hand-Tighten Bolts:
- Hand-tighten all bolts to hold the hitch in place.

Torque Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the following specifications:
- 1/2-13 GR5 fasteners: 75 lb-ft
- M12 CL10.9 fasteners: 75 lb-ft
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the following specifications:

- (4) M12 Hex Bolts
- (6) Conical Washers
- (2) 1/2-13 Carriage Bolts
- (2) 1/2-13 Hex Nuts
- (2) 1” x 1.5” Spacer Blocks
- (2) Pull Wires
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Follow all safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
