Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Bumper Fascia:
- Open the trunk and use a T15 driver to remove (5) screws from the wheel well liner on each side.
- Push the liner aside. Using a 7mm socket, remove the screw holding the fascia to the fender on both sides.
- Remove the license plate and the (2) screws behind it using a T15 driver.
- Remove taillights to expose two fascia tabs. Remove the access panel inside the trunk behind the taillight.
- Unscrew (2) plastic wingnuts and gently pull the taillight straight rearward to unplug it.
- Push down on the fascia tabs while gently pulling on the fascia to detach it. Disconnect any wiring if equipped.

Remove Bumper Beam:
- Use a 15mm socket to remove (2) flange nuts and (2) bolts from the bumper beam on both sides.
- Gently remove the bumper beam and exhaust rod hangers. Use a support to prevent damage to the exhaust system.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch and align the top two holes with the studs on the bumper end panel.
- Raise the bumper beam and exhaust rod hangers to sandwich the hitch in place.
- Reuse the flange nuts and bolts to loosely fasten them.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to 53 lb-ft (72 N·m).

Trim Bottom Fascia:
- Locate the center of the bottom fascia and use a utility knife to trim a 6" deep by 5" wide area.
- Make additional trimming if necessary for a proper fit.

Reinstall Components:
- Reverse the steps in Step 1 to reinstall the bumper fascia, wiring, and all removed fasteners.
Safety Notes:
- Regularly check the hitch and fasteners to ensure secure attachment.
- If the hitch is removed, plug any holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water or exhaust fume entry.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always wear safety glasses and observe precautions when working under the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Bumper Fascia:

- Raise the bumper beam and exhaust rod hangers to sandwich the hitch in place.
