Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Carbon Canister:
- Lower the carbon canister and its bracket from the passenger side of the vehicle's frame.

Remove Tie-Down Bracket:
- Detach the tie-down bracket from the vehicle frame and set aside.

Remove Center Fascia Mounting Bracket (if present):
- If a center fascia mounting bracket is installed, remove it and set it aside.

Remove Exhaust Mounting Bracket:
- Detach the exhaust mounting bracket from the vehicle frame.
- Return all removed brackets and fasteners (tie-down, exhaust, and center fascia) to the vehicle owner in case the hitch is removed.

Install Hitch:
- Position the hitch on the vehicle, sandwiching the carbon canister bracket between the hitch and frame.
- Secure the hitch using the provided fasteners as shown in the instructions.

Attach Exhaust Hanger:
- Bolt the rubber exhaust hanger to the hitch side bracket using the provided fasteners.

Reattach Carbon Canister:
- Secure the carbon canister back to its bracket.

Reattach Center Fascia Tab (if present):
- Use the existing fastener or the provided cable tie to attach the fascia tab to the hitch.

- (7) M12 x 1.25 x 40mm Hex Bolts
- (2) 7/16” Flat Washers
- (1) 7/16” Lock Washer
- (7) 1/2” Conical Washers
- (1) M10 x 1.50 Hex Bolt
- (1) M10 x 1.25 Hex Nut
- (1) Cable Tie
Torque Specifications:
- Tighten all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 92 Lb.-Ft. (125 N*M).
- Tighten all M10 fasteners to 20-30 Lb.-Ft. (27-41 N*M).
Safety Notes:
- Regularly check all fasteners and the hitch ball to ensure they are securely tightened.
- Plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels if the hitch is removed to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection.
- Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes.
