Installation Instructions for Tongue Jacks

Step-by-Step Instructions:
General Instructions:
- Confirm there is no interference from the tow vehicle, tongue, ground, or mounted accessories.
- Check for interference in all positions, including handle swing and swivel positions.
Bolt-On Rack Jack Instructions:
- Place the gear housing on the tongue and insert the supplied bolts into the holes corresponding to the tongue width.
- Place the mounting bracket below the tongue with the flat surface against the tongue.
- Secure with locknuts and torque to 25 ft. lbs.
Snap Ring/Bolt-Thru Instructions:
- For a snap ring model, place the jack bracket over the mount and fully seat the snap ring into the groove.
- For a bolt-thru model, position the jack bracket into the recessed opening, place the bushing onto the bolt, and tighten the locknut.
A-Plate Mounting Instructions:
- All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder.
- Align the jack and coupler with the desired location before welding, using a 3/16" fillet weld.
- Secure with 3/8-16 Grade 5 bolts and torque to 15-20 ft. lbs.
- Weld the recommended support plate to the trailer frame.

- Place the jack at the desired location and weld 1" in two locations on both sides using a 3/16" fillet weld.
