Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Vehicle:
- Remove the spare tire from the trunk before drilling.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and install the 1/2”-13 hex bolt at the tow hook location.

Drill Holes:
- Using the hitch as a template, drill three (3) 1/2" holes for hitch attachment.

Install Carriage Bolts:
- Install three (3) 1/2”-13 carriage bolts into the drilled holes.

Install Long Spacer:
- Position the long spacer (with 2 square holes) inside the trunk pan as shown in the diagram.
- Use the spacer as a template to drill the remaining 1/2" hole.
- Install the remaining fasteners.

Seal Holes:
- Seal all holes drilled in the trunk pan to prevent intrusion of exhaust fumes and water.

Reinstall Spare Tire:
- Replace the spare tire in the trunk.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2” GR5 fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M).
