Installation Time:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Underbody Panel:
- Remove nine (9) M8 fasteners, five (5) M10 nuts, and two (2) plastic push-on fasteners.
- Use a flat head screwdriver to unscrew the fasteners while pulling down on the panel.
- Set the panel aside.

Lower Exhaust:
- Using exhaust removal pliers, pry off the two (2) rearmost rubber exhaust hangers.
- Spray the hangers with soapy water for easier removal.
- Support the exhaust system to prevent damage.
-
Remove Heat Shield:
- Remove two (2) M10 nuts, including one located above the muffler.
- Set the heat shield aside.
-
Fishwire Rearward Bolts:
- Use the fishwire method to install carriage bolts and 2-inch spacer blocks through the access hole and into the rearward attachment holes.
- Ensure the blocks do not overlap and leave pull wires attached.

Fishwire Forward Bolts:
- Use the reverse fishwire method to install carriage bolts and 3-inch spacer blocks into the forward attachment holes.
- Leave pull wires attached.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, starting with the passenger side over the muffler.
- Guide the fishwire ends through the hitch attachment holes.
- Remove the pull wires and install conical washers (teeth side toward the hitch) and 1/2" hex nuts onto the carriage bolts.
- Ensure no wires or other components are pinched between the hitch and the vehicle frame.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten all 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m) using a torque wrench.

Trim Heat Shield:
- Trim the heat shield as shown in the instructions (refer to Figure 2).
- Reinstall the remaining portion of the heat shield.

Reinstall Exhaust Hangers:
- Raise the exhaust back into position and reattach all hangers.

Trim Underbody Panel:
- Trim the underbody panel as specified in Figure 3.
- Reinstall the panel.
Torque Specifications:
- 1/2"-13 GR5 bolts: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)

- (6) Conical Washers, 1/2"

Safety Notes:
- Frequently check the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.

- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Chrysler Pacifica

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillights:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the bolts securing the taillights.
- Using a Torx T27 socket or wrench, remove the taillights on both the driver and passenger sides.
- Carefully pull the taillights away from the vehicle without damaging the alignment pins.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from both taillight sockets.
- Ensure connectors are clean and free of dirt, taking care not to damage the locking tabs.

Mount the Black Box:
- Underneath the vehicle, partially remove the underbody trim panel by removing the 8mm and 10mm bolts.
- Determine a suitable mounting point behind the rear bumper fascia on the driver’s side.
- Mount the T-One® Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
Warning: Ensure the module’s epoxy side faces downward to prevent water accumulation.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the yellow wire up between the bumper and vehicle body into the taillight pocket.
- Plug the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the driver-side taillight socket and the vehicle’s wiring harness.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger’s side, and the 4-flat connector underneath the bumper.
- Route the green wire up into the passenger taillight pocket and connect it as in Step 4.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the driver-side connectors.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the black 12-gauge power wire from the T-One® Connector black box.
- Attach the provided black 12-gauge wire and route it along the vehicle’s frame or existing wiring to the engine compartment, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or break the wire.

Connect to the Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable and secure it.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer.

Secure the Wiring Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the T-One® Connector harness, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the taillight assemblies, trim panels, and other removed components, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).
