- Torque Wrench
- Safety Glasses
- Sockets: 10mm, 11/16"
- 6" Socket Extension
- Die Grinder
- Phillips Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Bottom Appearance Panel:
- Using Phillips and flat head screwdrivers, remove 7 screws and 2 rivets from the bottom appearance panel.
- Return the panel to the vehicle owner.

Remove Bottom Bracket Attachment:
- Using a 10mm socket, remove 1 screw from the bottom bracket attachment on each side.
- Press the bracket inward to release it from the plastic tab attached to the frame rails.
- Return the brackets to the vehicle owner.

Enlarge Access Hole:
- Use a die grinder to enlarge the access hole to a 1-inch diameter on each side.

Install Hitch:
- Feed the 7/16" carriage bolt and spacer through the access hole using pull wires, leaving the wires attached.
- Raise the hitch into position and feed the pull wires through the hitch bracket slot.
- Remove the pull wires and loosely install conical washers (teeth side against hitch) and hex nuts.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 7/16" fasteners to 50 ft-lb (68 N*m) using a torque wrench.
Hardware List:
- (4) Carriage Bolt, 7/16"-14 x 1.75, GR5
- (4) Spacer, 0.875 x 2.00 x 0.109 (Part No. 1204-020)
- (4) Conical Washer, 7/16" (Part No. 01292007)
- (4) Hex Nut, 7/16"-14 GR2
- (4) Pull Wire, 7/16" (Part No. 5481)
Safety Notes:
- Always wear safety glasses during installation.
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.
- Plug any removed holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
