Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Lower Exhaust:

   • Remove the rubber isolators from the muffler hangers to lower the exhaust.
   • Start with the outside isolator, then proceed to the inside isolator.
   • Tip: Spray lubricant or soapy water on the metal hanger rod and rubber isolator to facilitate removal.

2. Position the Hitch:

   • Raise the hitch into position, aligning it with the frame weldnuts.

3. Install M10 Fasteners:

   • Secure the hitch to the frame using the M10 bolts and conical washers as shown.

4. Install U-Bolt:

   • Insert the 3/8"-16 U-bolt through the vehicle tie-down hook and the receiver’s tie-down hook attachment.
   • Secure with flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts.

5. Tighten Fasteners:

   • Tighten all fasteners to the required torque specifications:
     • M10 CL8.8 bolts: 38 lb-ft (52 N·m).
     • 3/8"-16 GR5 fasteners: 30 lb-ft (41 N·m).

6. Raise Exhaust:

   • Reinstall the rubber isolators and return the exhaust to its original position.
