Specifications:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Bottom Appearance Panel:
- Use a 12mm socket to loosen three (3) plastic nuts.
- Use a panel removal tool to remove five (5) rivets from the bottom appearance panel and one (1) rivet from the bottom fascia tab on the passenger side.
- Remove the bottom appearance panel.

Remove Tow Hook:
- Use a 17mm socket to remove two (2) bolts securing the tow hook on the driver’s side.
- Return the tow hook to the vehicle owner.

Lower Exhaust:
- Use exhaust removal pliers to detach the exhaust from the rubber isolator on the passenger side.
- Use a stand to support the muffler and prevent damage.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, sliding it over the passenger-side exhaust first.
- Loosely install M12 bolts with conical washers to secure the hitch.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M12 fasteners to 76 Lb.-Ft. (103 N*M).

Trim Bottom Appearance Panel:
- Trim the bottom panel as shown in the provided figure, cutting a 3.0” x 5.0” section.

Reinstall Components:
- Reinstall the exhaust and bottom appearance panel removed in Steps 1 and 3.
Hardware List:
- (4) Bolts: M12 x 1.25 x 30mm CL 8.8
- (4) Conical Washers: 1/2"
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect all fasteners and the hitch ball to ensure they remain securely tightened.
- Plug any holes in the trunk pan or body panels if the hitch is removed to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always wear eye protection and observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
Drawbar:

- Important: The drawbar must be used in the rise position only.
