- To the left of the steering column, near the emergency brake pedal.
- It is typically taped to another harness and will feature a 4-pin connector that matches the adapter’s connector.
Step 2: Connect the Adapter
- Plug the brake control adapter into the 4-pin connector on the vehicle’s brake control harness.
- Connect the opposite end of the adapter to the brake controller.
- Follow the brake control manufacturer’s installation instructions for wiring and mounting the unit.
CAUTION:
Plug the adapter into the brake controller before attaching it to the vehicle connector.
