Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Remove Underbody Panel:

   • Using a flat head screwdriver, remove three rivets from the passenger-side underbody panel.
   • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove two screws from the panel.
   • Use a 10 mm socket to remove two bolts from the panel.
   • Remove and set aside the underbody panel.

2. Clean Weldnuts:

   • Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic rivet covering on the weldnuts (three per side).
   • Clean the weldnuts using a wire brush to remove debris or corrosion.

3. Install Hitch:

   • Raise the hitch into position, aligning the mounting holes with the weldnut locations.
   • Loosely install the following hardware:
     • M12 bolts
     • 1/2” conical washers (teeth side toward hitch)
     • 1/2” lock washers
     • 1/2” flat washers

4. Tighten Fasteners:

   • Using a torque wrench, tighten all M12 fasteners to 76 ft-lbs (103 N*m).

5. Trim Underbody Panel:

   • Measure and mark the underbody panel as shown in Figure 2 of the manual.
   • Use a utility knife to trim the panel accordingly.

6. Reinstall Underbody Panel:

   • Reinstall the underbody panel using the fasteners removed in Step 1, except for the rearmost two fasteners due to trimming.

• (6) M12x1.25x35 CL8.8 Bolts
• (4) 1/2” Conical Washers
• (2) 1/2” Lock Washers
• (2) 1/2” Flat Washers

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Toyota Sienna

Part Numbers:

Tools Required:

• Trim Panel Remover
• Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
• 1/4” Socket
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Test Probe

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Open the Rear Hatch:

   • Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate, privacy screen, storage covers, and floor covering.
   • Open the rear door and fold the rear seat forward.
   • Remove all necessary trim panel fasteners to access the vehicle’s wiring. Set aside all items carefully.

2. Access the Driver-Side Wiring:

   • Pull back the rear driver’s trim panel to access the vehicle’s harness.

3. Locate the 8-Pin Connector:

   • On the driver’s side, locate the vehicle’s 8-pin connector near the floor, close to the rear seat.
   • Insert the 8-Pin Tow-Plug Adapter into the connector and lock it in place.

4. Mount the Black Box:

   • Mount the T-One® Connector black box on the driver’s side using the double-sided tape provided.
   • Secure the remaining harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that may cut or pinch the wire.

5. Ground the White Wire:

   • Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as the vehicle’s frame or crossmember.
   • Clean the grounding area to remove dirt and rustproofing.
   • Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.

   Caution: Verify the area behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

6. Test the Installation:

   • Ensure all connections are complete.
   • Test the installation using a test light or trailer.
   • Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

7. Secure the Harness:

   • Use the provided cable ties to secure the remaining T-One® T-Connector harness.
   • Avoid areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

8. Reinstall Trim Panels:

   • Reinstall all plastic trim panels, threshold covers, and floor coverings removed during installation.
   • Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged.

9. Store the 4-Flat Connector:

   • Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use.
   • When in use, pull the 4-flat connector through the door and close it carefully.

   Warning: Be cautious not to pinch the harness in the door latch.
