• Wrenches: 7/8", 13mm, 18mm, 19mm

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Lower Spare Tire:

   • If present, lower the spare tire to provide access to the hitch attachment points.

2. Remove Existing Components:

   • Remove and discard the M12 hex bolts from the ends of each frame rail, if present.
   • Remove and relocate the ground wire and ground wire bolt on the driver's side frame rail, if applicable.

3. Position Receiver:

   • Lift the receiver into position, aligning the slots in the receiver with the weld nuts in the vehicle frame.

4. Install Fasteners:

   • Attach the M12 hex bolts and conical washers to the weld nuts in the vehicle frame.

5. Install Additional Fasteners:

   • Secure the hitch using the provided fasteners, including carriage bolts, lock washers, and nuts, as shown in the diagram.
   • Use the 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2" block at the forward-most attachment on the driver's side for 6' bed models.

6. Reinstall Ground Wire:

   • Reinstall the ground wire and ground wire bolt into the side bracket.

7. Raise Spare Tire:

   • Reinstall the spare tire, ensuring proper clearance between the hitch and spare tire.

8. Tighten Fasteners:

   • Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:
     • M12 CL10.9: 75 lb-ft (102 N·m)
     • 1/2"-13 GR5: 75 lb-ft (102 N·m)

Torque Specifications:

• M12 CL10.9: 75 lb-ft (102 N·m)
• 1/2"-13 GR5: 75 lb-ft (102 N·m)

• (2) M12 x 1.75 x 45mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
• (2) Conical Toothed Washers
• (4) 1/2"-13 x 1-3/4" GR5 Carriage Bolts
• (4) Lock Washers
• (4) Hex Nuts
• (4) 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2" Blocks

• Check hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
• Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
• If the hitch is removed, plug any holes in the vehicle's frame or body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
• Always observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, including wearing eye protection.
• Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
