Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Existing Hardware:
- Remove and discard M12 hex bolts from the end of each frame rail if present.
- Remove ground wire and ground wire bolt if present on the driver's side frame rail.

Position the Receiver:
- Lift the receiver into position, aligning slots in the receiver over weldnuts in the frame rail.
- For vehicles without a bumper, locate slots in the receiver over the rearward slots near the frame rail end.
- For vehicles with a bumper, locate slots in the receiver over the forward/aft slots near the frame rail end.

Install Fasteners:
- Attach the M12 hex bolts (supplied) and toothed washers through the receiver into the weldnuts on the frame.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Place the 1/2"-13 carriage bolts through the 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2" blocks and secure them using conical washers and hex nuts.

Reinstall Ground Wire:
- Secure the ground wire to the side of the receiver bracket using the ground wire bolt.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 75 lb-ft.
- Tighten 1/2"-13 GR5 coarse thread fasteners to 75 lb-ft.

- (4) 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2" Blocks
- (4) Conical Washers
- (4) Hex Nuts
- (2) M12 x 1.75 x 45 mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
- (2) Conical Toothed Washers
- (1) Ground Wire Bolt (for reinstall)
Notes:
- 8 ft Bed Models:
- Use the 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2" block oriented as shown in Figure 1 to ensure clearance.
- Vehicles Without a Factory Bumper:
- Relocate the license plate mounting bracket if required.
Safety Notes:
- Always check that all fasteners and the hitch ball are secure.
- Plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels if the hitch is removed to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Never use a torch to cut access holes.
- Periodically inspect the hitch and hardware for wear and damage.
