Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower or Remove the Spare Tire:
- Lowering or removing the spare tire will provide easier access during the installation process.

Remove Existing M14 Bolts:
- Remove the factory-installed M14 bolts from the rear frame rail on each side of the vehicle.
- Return these bolts to the vehicle owner.

Install the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Insert one (1) supplied M14 bolt with a 9/16" lock washer and 9/16" flat washer into the rear-most weldnut on each side of the frame. Loosely secure the hitch.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Insert three (3) 1/2"-13 carriage bolts and three (3) 1/4" blocks inside each frame rail.
- Secure the hitch using three (3) 1/2" conical washers and three (3) 1/2"-13 hex nuts below the hitch on each side of the frame.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2"-13 Grade 5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
- Torque all M14 CL10.9 fasteners to 148 lb-ft (201 N·m).

Re-Tighten or Re-Stow the Spare Tire:
- Reinstall the spare tire, ensuring that it is securely fastened.
Hardware List:
- (6) 1/2"-13 x 1.75" Grade 5 Carriage Bolts
- (6) 1/4" x 1.5" x 2" Spacer Blocks
- (6) 1/2" Conical Toothed Washers
- (6) 1/2"-13 Grade 5 Hex Nuts
- (2) 9/16" Flat Washers
- (2) 9/16" Plated Lock Washers
- (2) M14 x 2.00 x 40mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
Safety Notes:
- Frequently check the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always follow safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Installation Instructions for 7-Way Flat Pin Connector / 4-Flat Combo Adapter Harness

Mounting Bracket Instructions:
- Determine a suitable mounting point on the tow vehicle for the connector or use an existing mount. Ensure the trailer’s wire harness has sufficient length to reach this point.
- Secure the mounting bracket on the rear of the tow vehicle or to the plate attached to the hitch cross tube using the self-tapping screws provided.
- Caution: Do not drill into the hitch cross tube to avoid damage to the hitch or personal injury. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces. Refer to the hitch owner’s manual or instruction sheet for recommendations and limitations.
Socket Instructions:
- Install the 7-way Blade Socket (connector) onto the mounting bracket using the screws and nuts provided.
- Plug the OEM factory-equipped car-end socket harness into the 7-way Blade Car Socket.
- Insert the 4-flat connector into the slot in the bracket.
- Tighten all screws securely.
Safety Notes:
- All connections must be completed to ensure proper functionality. Test and verify the installation using a test light, circuit tester, or trailer.
- Warning: Overloading circuits can cause fires. DO NOT exceed the lower of the towing manufacturer’s rating or:
- Max Right Turn, Left Turn, Stop, and Tail Light Circuits: 7.5 amps
- Max (+) Battery, Reverse, and Electric Brake Circuits: 30 amps
