Installation Instructions for 2017-Current Chrysler Pacifica and 2020-2021 Chrysler Voyager

Step-by-Step Instructions:
-
Install Receiver Housing:
- Unlock the blue handle using the provided key.
- Remove the receiver housing from the hitch by pressing and rotating the blue handle clockwise until it clicks.
- Attach the weather covers to the housing.
- Secure the housing to the hitch using M12 bolt, flat washer, and prevailing torque nut.
- Tighten to 92 Lb.-Ft. (125 N*M).

Remove Underbody Panel:
- Remove nine (9) M8 fasteners, five (5) to eight (8) M10 nuts, and one (1) or two (2) plastic push-on fasteners.
- Detach the panel and set it aside.

Lower Exhaust:
- Remove the two (2) rearmost rubber exhaust hangers using exhaust removal pliers. Spray with soapy water for easier removal.
- Support the exhaust system to prevent damage.
-
Remove Heat Shield:
- Remove two (2) M10 nuts, one of which is located above the muffler. Set the heat shield aside.
-
Fishwire Rearward Bolts:
- Using the fishwire method, install carriage bolts and 2” blocks into the rearward attachment holes. Leave pull wires attached.
-
Fishwire Forward Bolts:
- Using the reverse fishwire method, install carriage bolts and 3” blocks into the forward attachment holes. Leave pull wires attached.
-
Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, passenger side first over the muffler. Guide the fishwire ends through the attachment holes.
- Remove the pull wires and install conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) and 1/2” hex nuts onto the carriage bolts.
- Ensure no wires or components are pinched between the hitch and vehicle frame.

Relocate Proximity Antenna:
- Secure the key proximity antenna to the relocation bracket using the provided zip ties.
- Reconnect the wiring.
-
Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2” fasteners to 110 Lb.-Ft. (149 N*M).
-
Trim Heat Shield:
- Trim the heat shield as per the provided diagram and reinstall the remaining portion.

Reinstall Exhaust Hangers:
- Raise the exhaust back into position and reinstall all hangers.
-
Trim Underbody Panel:
- Trim the underbody panel as per the provided diagram and reinstall it.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Chrysler Pacifica LX and Touring

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillights:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the bolts holding the taillights.
- Using a Torx T27 socket or wrench, remove the taillights on both driver and passenger sides.
- Carefully pull the taillights away from the vehicle, avoiding damage to alignment pins.
-
Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from both taillight sockets.
- Separate the connectors carefully, ensuring not to break the locking tabs. Clean all connector surfaces.
-
Prepare the Underbody Trim:
- Underneath the vehicle, partially remove the underbody trim panel by removing 8mm and 10mm bolts.
- Determine a suitable mounting point behind the rear bumper fascia on the driver’s side.
- Mount the T-One® Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
Warning: Mount the module with the epoxy side facing downward to prevent water accumulation.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Fish the T-Connector end with the yellow wires up between the bumper and vehicle body into the taillight pocket.
- Plug the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the driver-side taillight socket and the vehicle wiring harness.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger side and the 4-flat underneath the bumper.
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire up through the opening on the passenger side.
- Repeat Step 4 for the passenger side.

Mount the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector end in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connectors.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the black 12-gauge power wire from the T-One® Connector black box.
- Attach the provided black wire and route it along the exterior frame or existing wiring to the engine compartment up to the battery.
Warning: Avoid routing near hot pipes, heat shields, or the fuel tank.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder. Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the taillight assemblies, trim panels, and any other removed components, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.

Secure the Wiring Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the T-Connector harness, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.
