- Secure the hitch using four (4) M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8 hex bolts and four (4) 1/2” conical washers.
- Hand-tighten fasteners initially.

- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 76 lb-ft (103 N·m).

- Locate the electric brake control harness:
- Underneath and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
- The harness features a 5-pin connector matching the adapter plug.
Step 2: Secure the Ground Wire
- Find a suitable grounding point near the harness, such as:
- An existing ground stud, or
- If necessary, drill a 3/32” hole into a metal surface.
- Use the provided eyelet and screw to secure the white ground wire to the grounding point.
