Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower and Remove Spare Tire:
- Access the tire release under the storage compartment at the back of the vehicle.

Remove Driver-Side Rear Plastic Cover:
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove fasteners, five (5) plastic push pins, and two (2) nuts.
-
Lower Exhaust:
- Remove rear and side hangers, supporting the exhaust to prevent damage.
- Apply lubricant or soapy water to the metal hanger rods and rubber isolators to ease removal.
- Remove rubber plugs from the bottom of the frame rails on both sides.

Prepare Weldnuts:
- Run M10 bolts into the existing weldnuts in the frame rails to remove debris. Then, remove the bolts.

Raise Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Insert hardware items 1 & 2 on the driver side and items 4 & 5 on the passenger side.
- Insert bolts through the bracket and frame for support. If the bumper locator pin interferes, trim the pin using an angle grinder.

Install Hardware:
- Insert M10 bolts (items 8 & 7) through the bracket and into the frame.
- Loosely install the conical washers and hex nuts onto the corresponding bolts.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten M10 CL10.9 fasteners to 40 lb-ft (54 N*m).
- Tighten 1/2" GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m).
- Tighten M12 GR8.8 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N*m).

Reinstall Components:
- Raise the exhaust back into position and reattach hangers.
- Reinstall the driver-side rear plastic cover removed in Step 2.
- Reinstall the spare tire and ensure it is properly seated.
Torque Specifications:
- M10 bolts: 40 lb-ft (54 N*m)
- 1/2" GR5 bolts: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
- M12 GR8.8 bolts: 68 lb-ft (92 N*m)

- Underneath the vehicle, locate the trailer wiring harness connector on the driver’s side, behind the rear bumper fascia.
- If a protective cap is present, remove it and store it safely.

Clean and Prepare the Connector:
- Ensure the vehicle’s trailer wiring harness connector and the T-One® T-Connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt or debris.
- Clean the surfaces as necessary to ensure a proper connection.

Connect the T-One® T-Connector:
- Insert the 12-pin T-One® T-Connector into the vehicle’s trailer wiring harness.
