If there is not you can use part number 85343 trailer wiring adapter to convert any 4-Flat into a 7-Way. In addition you will use part number 20506 which will include the rest of wiring needed for electric brake controls. Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter for Buick Encore

- Trim Panel Remover
- 10mm Socket & Ratchet or 10mm Wrench
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- 1/4” Socket
- Wire Crimpers
- Wire Cutters
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Test Probe
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Tailgate:
- Remove the threshold, trunk floor panels, and trays. Set aside all removed items carefully.

Remove Interior Trim Panels:
- Partially remove the lower interior trim panels on the driver’s side. Be careful not to damage the clips.
-
Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Locate and separate the driver-side vehicle wiring connectors. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dirt.
- Insert the T-Connector with the yellow wire between the vehicle’s wiring connectors and lock into place.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector containing the green wire below the threshold cover to the passenger’s side taillight housing.
- Repeat Step 3 for the passenger side using the T-Connector with the green wire.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connectors.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution:
- Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Mount the Black Box Module:
- Locate a flat surface in an out-of-the-way place and mount the T-Connector’s black box module securely.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Inside the vehicle, connect the black 12-gauge wire to the black wire from the T-Connector black box using the provided yellow butt connector.
- Route the black wire through a grommet and along the vehicle’s exterior frame or thresholds to the engine compartment.
Warning:
- Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, or areas that may pinch or damage the wire.

Connect to the Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder. Attach the ring terminal to the vehicle’s positive (+) battery cable and secure it.
- Connect the black wire to the fuse holder using the provided yellow butt connector. Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer to verify functionality.

Secure the Wiring:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the T-Connector harness, avoiding areas that could pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Replace the plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor coverings, and other items removed during installation, ensuring no wires are pinched.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the trunk area when not in use.
