Installation Instructions for 7-Way T-One® T-Connector Kit
Part Numbers:

- Trim Panel Puller
- Ratchet
- 10mm Socket

- Cable Ties (24 - 8.5”, 1 - 14.5”)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Vehicle:
- Disconnect and isolate the vehicle’s negative battery terminal.
- Locate the positive post underneath the hood on the driver’s side.

Remove Rear Components:
- Open the rear hatch and remove the taillight assemblies on both sides of the vehicle.
- Lower the spare tire for additional access (if applicable).

Install T-One® T-Connector:
- Locate the tow-plug connector near the rear tire. Remove the protective cover from the connector.
- Insert the T-One® T-Connector harness into the vehicle’s tow-plug harness, ensuring locking tabs are secure.
- Route the T-Connector harness along the inside of the bumper towards the center of the vehicle.

Ground the White Wire:
- Secure the white ground wire to a clean metal surface near the connection point using the provided screw.

Route the Body Harness:
- From inside the vehicle on the driver’s side, route the body harness with red/black/blue wires into the engine compartment.
- Follow existing wiring along the thresholds to the battery location.
- Secure with cable ties, avoiding hot pipes, heat shields, or other pinch points.

Connect Power Wires:
- Route the black wire to the battery’s positive post. Connect it using the 30 AMP fuse holder, butt connector, and ring terminal.
- Route the red wire to the battery’s positive post. Connect it using the 25 AMP fuse holder, butt connector, and ring terminal.

Install the 7-Way Connector:
- Determine a suitable mounting location for the 7-way connector.
- Route the harness behind the bumper fascia to the mounting point.
- Connect and secure the 7-way connector (bracket not included).

Secure and Reassemble Components:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure all wiring, avoiding any areas that could pinch, cut, or melt the wires.
- Replace all removed panels, grommets, and other components. Seal altered grommets with silicone.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s negative battery cable.

Test the Installation:
- Test and verify the system with a test light or trailer.

- Max. stop/turn/backup light: 2 per side (4.2 amps)
- Max. tail lights: 7.5 amps
- Max. 7-Way 12V power: 30 amps
