Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Vehicle:
- Disconnect and isolate the vehicle’s negative battery terminal.
- Locate the positive post underneath the hood, on the passenger side.
- Open the rear lift gate and use a trim panel puller to remove the rear combination lights. Set aside the lights.

Access Rear Cargo Area:
- Remove the rear cargo door threshold, cargo tray, and partially remove the driver’s side cargo side panel to access the body harness connection point.

Connect Driver-Side T-Connector:
- From underneath the vehicle, route the ModuLite® and the T-One® Connector with yellow/brown wires to the driver-side rear combination light pocket.
- Connect the T-One® Connector to the vehicle wiring connector, ensuring it locks into place.
- Route the ground wire to the chassis ground point and secure the ring terminal.

Mount the ModuLite® Box:
- Use the provided double-sided tape or cable ties to mount the ModuLite® box in a secure location near the driver-side rear combination light pocket.

Route Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-One® Connector with green/blue wires behind the rear bumper fascia to the passenger side.
- Connect the passenger-side T-One® Connector to the vehicle’s wiring connector.

- Route the red/black wires to the positive post underneath the hood, and the 12-gauge blue wire to the vehicle body harness connection point.

- Use the provided 30-amp fuse holder, butt connector, and ring terminal to connect the black wire to the battery.
- Use the 15-amp fuse holder, butt connector, and ring terminal to connect the red wire to the battery.

Complete Connections:
- Route the brake control harness to the appropriate connector under the dash, following the brake control manufacturer’s instructions.
- Mount the brake controller as directed.

Secure the Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the wiring harness, avoiding areas that could pinch, cut, or melt the wires.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
For Jeep Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer
Step 1: Locate the brake control harness connector
- Identify the vehicle’s 4-pin electric brake control harness connector located under the dash, left of the steering column.
- This connector is taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal and resembles the Tekonsha adapter.
Step 2: Connect the adapter and mount the brake control unit
- Plug the brake control adapter into the mating receptacle on the brake control unit before connecting it to the vehicle harness.

Mounting Instructions:

Select a Suitable Mounting Location:
- Must be securely mounted to a solid surface.
- Must be within easy reach of the driver.
- Ensure the area behind the mounting location is clear before drilling.

Mark the Hole Locations:
- Hold the mounting bracket in place.
- Mark the holes using the slots in the bracket as a template.
