Installation Instructions for Nissan Pick-Up

Step-by-Step Instructions for Models with 75" Bed:
- Remove the bolt from the bottom of the frame on both sides of the vehicle. Insert a 1/2” carriage bolt and a large bolt plate through the large rear hole in the frame. Repeat for the other side.
- Lift the hitch up to the frame with the carriage bolts going down through the second hole from the forward end of the hitch bracket. Install 1/2" lock washers and nuts on the bolts. Hand-tighten fasteners.
- Attach the “L” brackets to hitch brackets using the 1/2" carriage bolts with small bolt plates and the 1/2” hex bolts with 1/2” conical washers. Hold the hitch level. Using one of the obround holes in the “L” bracket as a guide, drill a 1/2" hole into the bumper bracket. Install 1/2" hex bolt, serrated washer, lock washer, and nut on both sides.
- Tighten all 1/2” fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
Step-by-Step Instructions for Models with 56" Bed:
- Remove the bolt from the bottom of the frame on both sides of the vehicle. Insert a 1/2” carriage bolt and a large bolt plate through the large rear hole in the frame. Bolt leaders may be used to assist installation. Repeat for the other side.
- Lift the hitch up to the frame with the carriage bolts going down through the second hole from the rear in the hitch bracket. Install 1/2" lock washers and nuts on the bolts.
- Using the front hole in the bracket as a guide, drill a 1/2" hole in the frame. Insert a 1/2" carriage bolt with a small bolt plate down through the frame and the hitch bracket. Install a 1/2" lock washer and nut on the bolt. Repeat for the other side.
Note: The above installation can be used for models with 75” beds, but longer ball mounts and weight distributing shanks will be required.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Trailer Wiring Harness

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Taillight Assemblies:
- Remove both driver’s side and passenger’s side taillight assemblies.
- Locate the vehicle’s wiring harness behind each taillight opening.
- The vehicle will have connection points matching the ends of the T-Connector adapter.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Starting on the driver’s side, route the T-Connector with the yellow wire from under the vehicle up through the taillight opening.
- Disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness from the taillight assembly.
- Insert the T-Connector between the disconnected halves of the harness.
- Ensure all connectors are fully inserted and locked.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the driver-side connector.
- Drill a 3/32” hole into clean, bare metal.
- Secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Do not drill into the vehicle floor, bed, or any other exposed surface.
