Installation Instructions for GM Full Size Van

Wiring Access Location:

- Wrenches: 3/4", 7/8" (tighten all fasteners with torque wrench)

- Hitch requires 5/8" pin and clip if stabilizing pin is not installed.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Insert carriage bolts and blocks through existing access slots and into attachment holes as shown in the diagram for each side.
- Raise the hitch into position and fasten with conical toothed washers and nuts as shown in the diagram for each side.
- Tighten all 1/2” GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter
Part Numbers:

Wiring Access Location:
- Near the rear interior trim panels close to the doors.
Tools Required:
- Screw or cable ties (provided).
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the rear interior trim panels near the doors.
- Locate the vehicle’s tail light wiring harness. Connection points will be present on both sides of the vehicle, matching the ends of the T-Connector adapter.

Disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness connectors on the driver’s side.
- Caution: Be careful not to damage the locking tabs.

Position the black box on the left (driver’s) side of the vehicle.
- Plug the T-Connector harness containing the yellow wire into the left vehicle wiring harness connector.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and secured using the existing and provided locking tabs.

Repeat the procedure for the passenger side using the connector containing the green wire.

Route the green wire under the floor trim (threshold) panel.
- Secure the black box to the vehicle using the provided screw or cable tie behind the driver’s side trim panel.

Reinstall the rear trim panels removed in step 1.
