Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Honda Accord

- Trim Panel Remover
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Trunk:
- Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate.
- Partially remove the felt trunk liner behind the taillights.

Locate the Vehicle’s Wiring Harness:
- On both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle, locate the taillight wiring harness.
- Separate the vehicle's wiring connectors, being careful not to break the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Attach both ends of the T-Connector containing the yellow, brown, and red wires to the driver’s side.
- Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locking tabs are secure.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger side, behind the panels and along the threshold.
- Repeat Step 2 for the T-Connector with the green wire.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector.
- Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Inside the vehicle, connect the black 12-gauge wire to the black wire from the T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.
- Route the black wire through a grommet and along the exterior frame or follow the existing wiring to the engine compartment up to the battery.
- Avoid areas that may pinch, cut, or break the wire.
Warning: Avoid routing the wire near hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or any hazardous points.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable and secure.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.
Warning: Follow all warnings and cautions related to the tow vehicle’s battery.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer.

Mount the T-Connector Black Box Module:
- Locate a flat, out-of-the-way surface and mount the black box module to prevent damage or rattling.

Secure the Wiring Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the wiring harness.
- Avoid areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wires.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Replace the carpet and any other clips or panels removed during installation.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the trunk area when not in use.

- Max. stop/turn light: 2 per side (4.2 amps)
- Max. tail lights: 7.5 amps
