Perform all safety checks before starting: - Ensure the towing vehicle is in park. - Engage the emergency brake. - Block the trailer's wheels. 2. Use lifting equipment to position the Goosebox. 3. Secure the Goosebox to the trailer using the provided hardware: - Install bolts and washers from the outside. - Place conical washers and nuts on the inside. - Torque bolts to 210 ft-lbs. --- ## Hitching and Unhitching ### Hitching: 1. Use only with a 2 5/16” diameter Gooseball. 2. Ensure the coupler handle is locked and unobstructed by the pull cable. 3. Lower the coupler onto the Gooseball. The handle will automatically lock into position. 4. Confirm the handle is in the locked position before towing. > Warning: Never tow a trailer without ensuring the Gooseball is fully recessed and locked within the coupler. ### Unhitching: 1. Pull the handle back using the pull cable and hook it into the cable stop. 2. Raise the trailer off the Gooseball and release the cable. 3. Ensure the latch remains in the locked position when the trailer is stationary. --- ## Air Fill and Adjustment 1. Perform the hitching procedure with the trailer loaded. 2. Inflate the air spring using the air bag fill valve. 3. Adjust the air pressure until the Goosebox reaches the nominal ride position as indicated on the visual air inflation indicator. 4. Recheck the air pressure to ensure desired ride comfort. > Note: The Goosebox features an automatic air relief valve to prevent over-inflation. --- ## Maintenance 1. Grease the coupler shaft and clean/grease the Gooseball before each use. 2. Inspect the Goosebox for damage or excessive wear. 3. Fully deflate and refill the airbag once per season. 4. Step-by-Step Installation Instructions
General Installation:
