Install the Channel-Mount Shank: - Install the adjustable channel-mount shank into the trailer hitch of the vehicle. - Secure with a hitch pin & clip. Always secure the hitch pin with a clip unless a locking device is being used. 2. Adjust Pintle Height: - Raise or lower the pintle to the desired height. - Insert the channel-mount system pins through the holes that align with the holes in the channel-mount. - Secure the pins with clips. Use only the pins and clips specifically engineered for the channel-mount system. If replacements are needed, use original factory pins. 3. Tighten Anti-Rattle Set Screw: - After the pintle is set to the correct height and secured, tighten the anti-rattle set screw into the channel-mount to eliminate noise. - Note: The set screw is only used to eliminate rattle, not for safety. 4.
