- Remove the jounce block from the bottom of the frame on both sides.

- Place brackets onto the frame and align:
- One of the front holes should match an existing hole in the frame.
- Drill a hole in the frame for the rearward bracket attachment.

Pull Carriage Bolts:
- Use the pull wire to guide the carriage bolts with bolt plates through the hole at the bottom of the frame and into the bracket:
- For forward brackets: Use a 1” washer.
- For rearward brackets: Use a 13/16” washer.

Reinstall Jounce Blocks:
- Replace the jounce block to its original position.

Step 1: Guidelines for Matching Hitch, Truck, and Trailer
- Verify that the Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) does not exceed 15,000 lbs, and the kingpin weight does not exceed 3,750 lbs.
- Ensure a minimum clearance of 6 inches between the trailer and truck bed walls for safe turning and maneuvering.
- Use only a SAE 2-inch kingpin with this hitch.
- For short-bed trucks (less than 8 feet but longer than 6 feet):
- Use an extended pin box for increased turning clearance.
