Ensure the towing vehicle's rated capacity matches or exceeds the gross trailer weight. 2. Check clearances: - A minimum of 2 feet between the bumper and trailer. - At least 7 inches clearance between the truck bed and trailer undercarriage. 3. Load the trailer evenly, keeping the heaviest items in front of the axle. 4. Avoid exceeding 20% of the gross trailer weight on the gooseneck ball. --- ## Step-by-Step Installation Instructions ### General Installation: 1. Position the Goosebox with lifting equipment. 2. Secure the Goosebox to the trailer using the provided hardware: - Install bolts and washers from the outside. - Place conical washers and nuts on the inside. - Torque bolts to 210 ft-lbs. ### Hitching: 1. Use only with a 2 5/16” diameter Gooseball. 2. Ensure the coupler handle is locked and unobstructed. 3. Lower the coupler onto the Gooseball. The handle will snap shut. 4. Confirm the handle is in the locked position before towing. ### Unhitching: 1. Park the towing vehicle and apply the emergency brake. 2. Block the trailer's wheels securely. 3. Disconnect all cables and ensure the coupler handle is unlocked. 4. Raise the trailer off the Gooseball and ensure the coupler latch locks into position. --- ## Air Fill and Adjustment 1. Hitch the trailer and retract the landing gear. 2. Inflate the air system using the airbag fill valve. 3. Adjust the air pressure to reach the nominal ride position as indicated on the visual inflation indicator. 4.
