Tools Required:

- Torque Wrench

- Sockets: 10 mm, 13 mm, 15/16"
- 6" Socket Extension
- Tape
- Flat Head Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Remove Ground Wire:
- Using a 10 mm socket, remove the ground wire from the passenger-side frame rail. Return the fastener to the vehicle owner.
2. Lower Spare Tire:
- Lower the spare tire to allow room for hitch installation.
3. Install Spacer Blocks:
- Secure U-shaped spacer blocks to the inside of the frame rail using masking tape. Ensure they are centered around the holes in the frame on both sides.
- Attach .250 x 1.75 x 2.50 spacer blocks to the forward mounting hole of the hitch bracket using masking tape. Center the hole in the block with the slot in the bracket on both sides.
4. Install Fasteners:
- Feed the coiled end of the fish wire through the attachment hole and out the access hole in the frame.
- Attach the spacer block and carriage bolt to the fish wire and pull the hardware inside the frame. Repeat this process for all four attachment points.
- Leave the fish wires attached temporarily.
5. Mount the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, guiding the fish wires through the corresponding holes in the hitch.
- Pull the fasteners into position and carefully remove the fish wires.
- Loosely install the conical washers and hex nuts onto the carriage bolts. Avoid letting the bolts fall into the frame.
6. Reattach Ground Wire:
- Using a 13 mm socket, reattach the ground wire with the M8 bolt, lock washer, and flat washer provided.
7. Torque Fasteners:
- Torque all 5/8"-11 GR5 fasteners to 150 lb-ft (203 N·m).
- Torque all M8 CL8.8 fasteners to 20 lb-ft (27 N·m).
8. Raise Spare Tire:
- Reinstall the spare tire in its original stowed position.

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions:
Towing Vehicle:
- Locate the appropriate wires at the rear of the vehicle using a circuit tester and the provided wiring chart as a reference.
- Make the connections as shown in the chart using wire taps.
- Connect the Ground Wire (White) to the vehicle frame or body.
General:
- Test all lights using a test light, circuit tester, or connected trailer to ensure proper functionality.
- Secure all loose wires with cable ties.
Notes:
- Vehicles with separate turn and stop lights require a taillight converter.
- If splicing into the vehicle wiring:
- Consult the vehicle owner's manual or local dealer for warnings or restrictions.
- Use appropriate gauge wire splices for secure connections.
