Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Spare Tire:
- Open the rear hatch to access the spare tire winch.
- Using a 21 mm socket, lower the spare tire and set it aside for later.

Lower Exhaust:
- Use exhaust removal pliers and soapy water to remove three rubber exhaust hangers.
- One hanger is located at the end of the exhaust.
- Two hangers are located near the middle of the vehicle.
- Support the exhaust to prevent damage before removing the hangers.
- Use exhaust removal pliers and soapy water to remove three rubber exhaust hangers.

Trim Fascia:
- Using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife, measure, mark, and trim the lower fascia as shown in Figure 2.

Install Hitch:
- Use a wire brush to clean the weldnuts if necessary.
- Raise the hitch into position and align the bracket holes with the weldnuts in the frame rail.
- Loosely install M12 bolts and conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) into the hitch (see Figures 1 and 3).

Tighten Fasteners:
- Using a torque wrench, tighten all M12 fasteners to 76 ft-lbs (103 N*m).

Reinstall Exhaust and Spare Tire:
- Reattach the exhaust using the rubber hangers removed earlier.
- Raise the spare tire back into position. Push the spare tire forward while raising it to provide additional clearance from the hitch.
Hardware List:
- (6) Bolt M12 x 1.25 x 35 CL 8.8
- (6) Conical Washer 1/2" (teeth side toward hitch)

- Always wear safety glasses during installation.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Hatch:
- Partially remove the cargo tray and plastic threshold cover in the rear cargo area.

Remove Retaining Bolts and Clips:
- Locate and remove the three retaining 10mm bolts and push clips holding the cargo tray in place.
- Lift the cargo tray and lay it back toward the rear seats.

Access Driver-Side Harness Wiring:
- Remove the rear cargo hooks using a 10mm socket.
- Partially pull the driver-side trim panel to access the harness wiring.

Connect the Relay Harness:
- Locate the vehicle’s white male connector housing that matches the relay harness.
- Insert the white female connector into the vehicle’s mating connector housing and lock into place.
- Insert the relay (provided) into the 4-pin mating relay connector harness.
- Secure the relay harness with the provided cable ties.
Warning: Using relays other than those provided in the hardware kit may result in malfunction or damage.

Locate Passenger-Side Trailer Harness Connector:
- Underneath the rear of the vehicle on the passenger side, locate the gray 6-way trailer harness connector near the rear fascia.

Route the T-Connector Harness:
- Route the harness rearward to the back of the bumper fascia.
- Secure the harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Mount the 4-Flat End:
- Mount the 4-flat end in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).
Warning: Ensure all connections are complete for proper functionality. Test the installation with a test light or trailer. Reset the vehicle's electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Reinstall Trim Panels and Components:
