Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Exhaust:
- On the driver’s side, disconnect the rubber exhaust hanger forward of the muffler using lubricating spray.
- On the passenger side, remove the exhaust hanger bracket by detaching the two M8 fasteners. Discard the M8 fasteners.

Modify Heat Shield:
- On the driver’s side, bend or cut the heat shield to expose the hole in the frame rail.

Fishwire Carriage Bolts and Spacer Blocks:
- Use the provided pull wire to fish the carriage bolts and spacer blocks through the large access holes in the frame rails and into the attachment holes.
- Follow the reverse fishwire procedure (Figure 2) to guide the bolt and block through the large slot and back down through the same slot.

Remove Existing Bolt:
- On the driver’s side, remove the existing M12 bolt at the forward-most attachment point. Retain this bolt for hitch installation. Do not clean threads.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, ensuring that the bolts remain in place. Loosely attach the hitch using conical toothed washers and nuts.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Align the holes in the hitch with the holes in the vehicle. Install the remaining fasteners as shown and tighten them.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2”-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M).
- Torque all M8 x 1.25 CL9.8 fasteners to 20 Lb.-Ft. (27 N*M).
- Torque all M12 x 1.50 CL10.9 fasteners to 92 Lb.-Ft. (125 N*M).
Hardware List:
- (3) Carriage Bolts: 1/2”-13 x 1.75” GR5
- (3) Spacer Blocks: 1/4” x 1.00” x 3.00”
- (3) Conical Toothed Washers: 1/2”
- (3) Hex Nuts: 1/2”-13

- Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
- Phillips head #2 screwdriver.
- Wire cutters, wire strippers/crimpers.
- Tester or volt meter.
- Socket and ratchet set.
- Double-sided tape (provided).
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Installation of the Module:

Determine the mounting location for the module.
- Use the provided double-sided tape to secure the module.
- Ensure the epoxy side of the module faces downward to prevent water buildup.

Connect the module’s black wire to a 12-gauge (or larger) power wire using a yellow butt connector.

Locate a suitable grounding point near the module:
- Drill a 3/32" hole if necessary and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and self-tapping screw.
