Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Tailgate:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the vehicle’s rear cargo area.

Remove Interior Panels and Covers:
- Temporarily remove all floor coverings, cargo trays, and side panels in the rear cargo area to expose the necessary wiring and components.

Locate the Vehicle’s Tow-Plug Connector:
- On the driver’s side, locate the tow-plug connector by removing the cargo bin and cargo hooks using an 8mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver.

Connect the T-One® Harness:
- Insert the T-One® Connector harness into the vehicle’s tow-plug connector.
- Ensure the connectors are clean, free of dirt, and securely locked in place without damaging the locking tabs.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud.
- If no existing ground point is available, drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Caution: Verify the area behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Mount the Black Box Module:
- Locate a flat surface in an out-of-the-way location and mount the black box module using the provided double-sided tape to prevent damage or rattling.

Secure the T-One® Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remainder of the T-One® Connector harness, ensuring it avoids any areas where it could pinch, cut, or melt.

Route the 4-Flat Connector:
- Route the 4-flat connector from below the driver’s side trim panel into the rear storage compartment for easy access when in use.

Install the Fuse:
- Open the vehicle’s hood and locate the fuse box on the driver’s side near the rear of the firewall.
- Insert the provided 20-amp fuse into position #11 labeled “Trl Charge” and close the fuse box securely.

Reinstall Removed Panels and Covers:
- Reinstall all plastic trim panels, the threshold, storage covers, floor coverings, and any other items removed during the installation process, ensuring no wires are pinched or cut.
