Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector
Part Numbers:

- Trim Panel Remover
- 10mm Socket & Ratchet or 10mm Wrench
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- Wire Crimpers

- Phillips Head Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Hatch:
- Access the taillight housings by opening the rear hatch.

Remove Taillight Housings:
- Locate the bolt with the large spring using a 10mm wrench.
- Remove both bolts from the driver’s and passenger’s sides and set aside.

Connect Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors.
- Lock into place, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted and the locking tabs are secure.

Mount the Black Box:
- On the driver’s side, mount the T-One® Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the remaining harness with the provided cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
- Avoid areas where wires could be pinched or cut.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the driver’s side connector, such as an existing ground stud.
- Drill a 3/32” hole if needed and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Clean the grounding area of dirt and rustproofing.
Caution: Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Route Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the connector with the green wire behind the panels and along the threshold to the passenger’s side.

Connect Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the green wire between the passenger-side wiring connectors.
- Lock into place, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted and the locking tabs are secure.

Install the Fuse Holder:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable and secure it.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the provided yellow butt connector.
Warning: Follow all warnings and precautions printed on the vehicle’s battery.

Reconnect Battery and Install Fuse:
- Reconnect the Negative (-) battery cable.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

Reassemble Vehicle Components:
- Replace the plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and any other components removed during installation.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or cut.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Route the 4-flat connector through the driver’s side trim panel into the storage compartment and store it there when not in use.
