Examine Tow Vehicle Ensure that the mounting surface is adequate and that no fuel lines, electrical wires, brake lines, or other vehicle components will be damaged during installation. Note: Any cutting, relocation, or removal of components must be approved by the vehicle manufacturer. 2.
