- Panel trim removal tool

Wiring Access Locations:
- P3: Behind driver side taillight housing, inside trunk
- P4: Behind passenger side taillight housing, inside trunk
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Access the Vehicle's Wiring Harness Connectors:
- Open the trunk and remove all floor coverings.
- Remove the fasteners securing the rear scuff panel.
- Pull out the bottom of the scuff panel and then lift it up to remove.
- On both sides of the trunk, remove the push fasteners and screw-in fasteners securing the felt liner.
- Pull back the felt liner to expose the vehicle's taillight wiring harness connectors located behind the taillights at positions P3 and P4.

Disconnect the Negative Battery Terminal:
- Locate the vehicle battery on the driver's side under the hood.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety during installation.

Separate the Taillight Connectors:
- Starting on the driver side, separate the vehicle's taillight wiring harness connectors from the taillight housing.
- Take care not to damage the locking tabs during disconnection.

Install the T-Connector on the Driver Side:
- Insert the T-connector end with the yellow wire between the separated two-pin connectors.
- Insert the T-connector end with the brown wire between the separated three-pin connectors.
- Ensure all connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.

Establish a Ground Connection:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing screw with a nut in the vehicle's frame.
- If no suitable grounding point is available, drill a 3/32" pilot hole for the provided screw.
- Ensure the area is free of rust, dirt, and paint.
- Secure the white ground wire using the ring terminal and provided screw.
Warning: Check for miscellaneous items that may be hidden behind or under any surface before drilling to avoid damage and/or personal injury.

Route the T-Connector to the Passenger Side:
- Route the T-connector end with the green wire to the passenger side behind the removed scuff panel.
- Repeat the connection process on the passenger side using the T-connector end with the green wire.

Mount the Converter Box:
- Locate a flat spot inside the vehicle near the taillight.
- Adhere the black converter box using the provided double-sided tape.

Position the 4-Flat Connector:
- When in use, route the 4-flat connector to the center of the vehicle.
- When not in use, roll up and store it in a convenient, out-of-the-way location.
- Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.

Reassemble the Vehicle Components:
- Reinstall all items removed during installation.
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to help prevent corrosion.
Safety Notes:
- Ensure all connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs to prevent disconnection.
- Secure loose wires to avoid contact with moving parts or hot surfaces.
- Avoid routing wires through areas that may cut or pinch them.
Warning: Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle's lamp load rating, whichever is lower. Exceeding these ratings can cause loss of warranty, overheating, and potential fire.
