- Note: Do not exceed the towing vehicle manufacturer’s rating.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Tie-Down Brackets:
- If present, remove the tie-down brackets from the vehicle frame rails.
- Return bolts and tie-down brackets to the owner.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.

Install Fasteners:
- Install the provided fasteners into the existing weld nuts on the frame rails.
- Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 68 Lb.-Ft. (92 N*M) using a torque wrench.

For Vehicles with Appearance Panels:
- Remove the appearance panel covering the trunk pan by detaching the two 10mm plastic rivets fastening it to the fascia.
- Carefully remove the rivet centers with a flat-head screwdriver. Retain the rivets for reinstallation.
- Return the appearance panel and fasteners to the owner if not reinstalled.
Hardware List:
- (4) Hex Bolts: M12 x 1.25 x 35 CL8.8
- (4) Conical Washers
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect all fasteners and the hitch ball to ensure they are securely tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.

- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
