Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower or Remove the Spare Tire:
- Lowering or removing the spare tire will provide easier access during the installation process.

Remove Existing M14 Bolts:
- Remove the factory-installed M14 bolts from the rear frame rail on each side of the vehicle.
- Return these bolts to the vehicle owner.

Install the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Insert one (1) supplied M14 bolt with a 9/16" lock washer and 9/16" flat washer into the rear-most weldnut on each side of the frame. Loosely secure the hitch.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Insert three (3) 1/2"-13 carriage bolts and three (3) 1/4" blocks inside each frame rail.
- Secure the hitch using three (3) 1/2" conical washers and three (3) 1/2"-13 hex nuts below the hitch on each side of the frame.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2"-13 Grade 5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
- Torque all M14 CL10.9 fasteners to 148 lb-ft (201 N·m).

Re-Tighten or Re-Stow the Spare Tire:
- Reinstall the spare tire, ensuring that it is securely fastened.
