Installation Instructions for Front Mount Hitch Receiver for Chevy/GMC Pickup & Suburban (2500 & 3500 Series – 2WD Only)

Tools Required:
- Wrenches: 10mm, 18mm, 7/8”
- Drill with 1/2” drill bit
- Torque Wrench (75 lb-ft or 102 N-m)
Installation Instructions:

Remove Lower Fascia (If Present):
- Locate and remove the lower fascia panel under the bumper.
- This step is optional based on vehicle configuration.

Remove Tow Hooks (If Present):
- Remove any factory-installed tow hooks from the vehicle frame using a 10mm and 18mm wrench.

Insert Fasteners into the Frame:
- Use the pull wire to feed the carriage bolts and spacers into the end of the vehicle frame rails.
- Position them as shown in the included diagrams.

Raise the Hitch into Position:
- Lift the hitch into place and align it with the fasteners.
- Attach the hitch using the provided conical washers and hex nuts.

Drill Mounting Holes:
- If the large slot is not already present in the vehicle frame, use the hitch as a template to mark and drill a 1/2” hole.
- Ensure the hitch is properly aligned before drilling.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Secure all 1/2” GR5 hardware to a torque specification of 75 lb-ft (102 N-m) using a torque wrench.

Trim and Reinstall Fascia (Optional):
- If desired, trim the lower fascia panel to accommodate the hitch receiver.
- Reinstall the fascia after trimming. Consult the vehicle owner before making modifications.
Safety Notes:
- Regularly check the hitch to ensure all fasteners are properly tightened.
- Remove and replace any damaged hitch or hardware immediately.
- Do not cut, weld, or modify the hitch.
- Observe proper safety precautions when working under a vehicle, and wear eye protection.

- Cargo Capacity: 500 lbs (227 kg) or the vehicle’s Front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) (whichever is lower).
