Installation Instructions for 12,000 lb. Square Tube Jack
General Installation Notes:
- Read and understand all instructions before installation or use.
- Do not alter or modify the product. Install and use only as specified.
- Never position any part of the body under the product or the load being supported.
- Fully retract and/or rotate the jack before towing.
- Ensure the drop leg pin is fully inserted before using the jack.
- Keep children away from the product and the load being supported.
- Secure the load, vehicle, and trailer by blocking wheels during operation.
- Avoid excessive side forces to prevent jack failure.
- Replace any bent, broken, or worn parts before using the jack.
- Use only on flat surfaces. For tandem applications, align jacks to ensure equal load sharing.
- All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder.
Tools Required:
- Torque wrench
- Ratchet set
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Direct Mount to Load-Bearing Member:
- All welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder.
- Place three 2-inch-long 1/4” fillet welds on both sides of the jack along the contacting surface. Ensure welds are spaced as far apart as possible to maximize strength.
- For tandem applications, align jacks carefully to ensure they raise and lower together while sharing the load equally.
Weld-On Pivot Tube Mounting:
- Position the non-beveled side of the pivot tube against the tongue.
- Weld all around the tube using a 1/4” fillet weld.
- Align one set of pivot mount holes vertically, mate the jack to the pivot tube, and secure with the supplied pin.
Drop Leg Operation:
Spring Return Drop Leg:
- Ensure the jack is not supporting any load.
- Place your foot on the footplate to control the return of the drop leg.
- Rotate the drop leg pin to the disengaged position and move the leg to the desired position.
- Re-engage the drop leg pin and verify it is fully seated, with no clearance between the pin and housing.
Non-Spring Return Drop Leg:
- Ensure the jack is not supporting any load.
- Grasp the handle of the footplate to control the fall of the drop leg.
- Disengage the drop leg pin and move the leg to the desired position.
- Re-engage the pin and verify it is fully seated with no clearance between the pin and housing.
Maintenance:
- Lubricate the gears, bushings, and screw annually with automotive grease.
- Apply lightweight oil to the input shaft bushings and drop leg pin assembly.
- Keep the drop leg pin and spring clean and lubricated.
Safety Notes:
- Fully retract and rotate the jack before towing.
- Always use the jack on a stable and level surface.
- Do not adjust the drop leg while the jack is under load.
- Replace bent, broken, or worn parts before using the jack.

- Coverage: 1 year against defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
